LIQUOR ROSOLIO ALLA ROSA 500 ML

Rosolio, also called "the liqueur of the past" due to its very ancient origins, has spread since the end of the seventeenth century. It was born in convents, where nuns macerated rose petals in alcohol in order to produce a liqueur with which to welcome important guests. Within a few years, it became the "ladies'" liqueur, used in particular to celebrate celebrations such as baptisms, engagements and weddings. Thanks to its particular and elegant aroma, with a very 'feminine' taste, it can be considered, today as then, the liqueur of welcome and chat.

Liqueur produced and jealously guarded in the cupboards of our grandmothers, obtained through the infusion of rose petals, vanilla, sugar and honey in delicate grappa, it has a delicate pink color and an intense sweet scent, reminiscent of vanilla and rose canine.

It is obtained starting from the skilful maceration of rose petals in alcohol - maceration which must last for a minimum of 10 days - in order to allow the alcohol to extract the essential principles. The result obtained is a liqueur with a moderate alcohol content, around 30 degrees, very pleasant on the palate and perfect as an aperitif or at the end of a meal.

Rosolio has a coral pink colour, with an intense and fragrant aroma of freshly blossomed rose. On the palate it is sweet and velvety, with persistent floral sensations.

Ideal for after dinner but also for any moment of the day, it is a perfect ingredient for the preparation of cocktails and long drinks. Try it in combination with fresh fruit (especially cherries), almond biscuits or pistachios.

It is recommended to serve at a very low temperature (-5° C) in small long-stemmed spirit glasses.
